Whatever sort of spouse you want. I'd advise someone who is also tolerant of other religions, to avoid any hassles when it comes to raising the kids. Also, it's been my experience(and you're free to ignore this because I'm aware it's not always the case, just was for me, unfortunately) that if a person is intolerant of other religions, they'll probably be intolerant of you for being tolerant of religions they don't like.
Hopefully, that's not the case. Like I said, that's been my experience. In the bigger world, that's probably the exception to the rule. So you can pretty much marry whatever sort of spouse you feel comfortable with, whether they're tolerant or not. Tolerance would make it easier, especially when raising children is concerned, but it's up to you if mutual tolerance is a requirement or not.

Doesn't the Bible say that you shouldn't be 'unequally yoked' with nonbelievers? And also, I have never heard of many Christians that are tolerant of other religions. It is not tolerant to try to change people, and aren't Christians called to be ambassadors for Christ, spreading the 'Good News'? You'd better stick with a Christian.

By "kind" you do mean "type" and not "gender" or "specie", right? But I jest... lol.
Hopefully, you will find your soulmate or someone whom you will love unconditionally and share a lifetime of happy memories with. It would be nice to find someone who shares your views, both in this realm and the next... although that may be not an easy task to accomplish once you establish certain parameters such as a deadline or other political purposes.
How do you know that you will love such a person? Don't worry, your heart will tell you so... Trust your own feelings.
Peace be with you.

a Christian who is tolerant of other religions or someone of another religion who tolerates Christians or in reality, someone who will love you unconditionally, to whom you can make the same committment, all the while keeping open minds...

Dear Secret Asian Man,
If you are a Christian, you'll want to follow the Bible-God's word. The Lord tells us not to be unequally yoked together with an unbeliever. Therefore, you are going to have to really talk to the woman you are considering marriage with to see if she loves God and obeys His word. Much prayer is required in a decision such as this. Also you may want to see if she has an earnest desire to be obedient to the Bible.

Why are you asking us? You should marry a spouse who you love and who loves you back, that's all there is to it.
