I am looking for softwares which can convert my VCD movies into DVD without loosing clarity.

i use http://www.tmpgenc.net/en/e_main.html
called Tmpegenc this will convert any file type to dvd and write it for you. and with a menu system .

just burn movie files onto a dvd disc from a dvd writable drive and stick it into the nearest dvd player and have fun

- download, install and run the program
- open a file or file you want to burn (*.dat files in your case)
- click “To DVD” button
- selcet a preset you like
- click “Convert Now”
After conversion is finished, it will ask you to insert a blank DVD.
