Sounds as if you might have a little psychic going on. It runs in my family as well but it's one of those things "we don't talk about" because they're all afraid. I've had one relative, someone I knew to be a strong, upstanding, christian and SANE woman tell me a little about our family history. Apparently in my family we have dreams as premonitions that tell us the future in great detail. I too can think of a movie I haven't seen in years and suddenly I'll find it's on TV that night, or a song that suddenly comes on the radio, etc. For me it typically is an indication that things are building up for "the big event" where something significant happens and all of the little things have only been to get my attention and get me "tuned in". Then ...*nothing*....maybe for months until the dreams and premonitions begin again. I usually get premonitions about family members and close friends when they're about to die, upcoming major life events that are going to take place for me in the future, etc.

Really. What abilities do you have? Psychic "powers" are not real. They are a combination of good guesswork, intuition, the ability to "read" a subject by studying their facial expressions, body language, verbal clues, and subtle emotional contexts. Back in the 70's there was a "psychic" or "telekinetic" named Uri Gellar who amazed millions with his apparent ability to bend spoons using his "mental powers". In reality it was a slick bit of stagemanship, theatrics, and clever misdirection. So-called "psychics" are never able to maintain a consistent track record of successful uses of their "abilities", and when you look at their "win/loss" records you will find most have a very low number of successes. In most cases such people go to great pains to not have such a record established and will not cooperate with any such investigation into their "powers". That is because they have something to hide - namely the fact that they have no "powers" whatsoever. What they stand to lose, of course, is money if they are exposed. Far too many people believe in this hogwash and willingly part with their money in order to hear "real psychic predictions". This is a scam that has been going on for centuries, from the ancient fortune-tellers to use of the tarot to crystal-gazing to seances to mediums to channeling to psychic hotlines. It is not real.

I believe we are all psychic, but for the majority the gift or the belief has been long knocked out of them. Educated out is another way of looking at it. Many professional psychics have grown up in a psychic friendly environment. Perhaps a grand-parent or parent with the knowledge has helped bring the extra sense out in the open and encouraged its use. But there are as many practicing psychics who have not had the benefit of caring psychic guidance and who have still managed to develop and hone this natural extra sense. The Psychic Sense.

Hmm maybe or maybe not.. you maybe more in tune with your surroundings. Your mind may be more open.
There is proof that some people are just more intuitive we all have the capability its just most of us have no idea how to use it.
If you really think you are or might be I would suggest doing some research on the subject. Look into expanding your mind there is tons of literature out there on the subject. Most magicians have this ability and use it to physch people out.

Maybe you do.... you probably don't.
I believe you don't, but I suppose you could do. Then again it will never influence my Universe, so it doesn't matter in the slightest.
My bet is on it merely being coincidence.... and don't think that it cannot be. Coincidence can take any pattern possible... and its still just random chance. Human knowledge is based completely on consistancy, which while being generally helpful, is as inherantly imperfect as anything else in this Universe.

Put your powers to the test! Try to predict the next day's lottery numbers, buy a ticket with those numbers, and see if you become a millionaire.
