You can find calf's liver at most large grocery stores. In the freezer section. If you have a good meat market you can also find it their.

Yes, it is good for you and delicious too! It is, in fact, high in bad cholesterol, but eaten infrequently, it is nothing to worry about. One of my favorite way to cook it is to fry up some bacon and then brown my flour coated liver slices in the bacon grease. Then, put your browned pieces of liver in a pyrex baking dish and add about 1/4 cup of water, cover with a piece of foil and bake in a 350 oven for about 25 minutes. Then, take the foil off and crumble the bacon over the liver and stick it back in the oven for about 5 more minutes. Take it out of the oven a squeeze some fresh lemon juice over it. Incredible stuff!

I grew up on it and it is great espicially with onions and bacon. However, liver is an organ meat and organ meats are high in cholesterol so you should somewhat limit your intake.

the good is that there is less fat in the calf liver..it is good for anemia and helps in weight loss.
