Even though I have felt like putting a bullet in my head at times to get rid of the pain, that's probably not the best answer. Excedrin migrain and sleep is the best advice I can offer. I often wet a washcloth with cold water and apply it over my eyes and forehead and sleep with it on there. For some reason it seems to help ease the pain a bit. I have had migraines since I was in 1st grade so I have lots of experience with them. (unfortunately)
When you get rid of this one you might think about going to your doctor and getting a prescription med to help the next time you get one. Nothing sold over the counter is as good as what the doc can give you.
Best of luck to you!

There are also prescription medications that can help. It would be useful to schedule an appointment with a doctor

hot tea helps... but i have heard warm powerade or gaterade helps because of some sort of chemical stuff that balances out what you are lacking or something like that.
