I just opened an bank CD, CSR asked for approval to pull my credit report. I agreed initially and figured it is possible going to impact my report. Is it true?

No. It's just a credit inquiry. But, if there are more than 2 credit inquiries, then it can affect your score.

No...this one time event won't impact your score unless you have ben requesting your credit several times recently.
