I am a 25 year old male. I weigh about 130 and I am 5'11. I had a physical examination a few months ago and found out that I am healthy - blood tests came out perfect. So why are my feet and fingers always cold? Poor blood circulation? How can I fix this? please refrain from the obvious answers (wear warmer socks, etc.) I've tried all that. Thanks

Do you drink enough water? Sometimes the blood flow is affected by how many glasses you drink a day.

Are you walking at least half an hour a day or doing any other cardiovascular activity? If you are at a job where you are sitting all day, this is particularly important.

I've heard it all, all my life. I've had test after test. Circulation fine, exercise is great, diet is good....Guess what, I have cold hands and feet, my grandmother did too, and others in our family, young, old and in between.
Sometimes it's so cold they hurt.
Heard it all too, cold hands, warm heart.
Have tried it all too, hand warmers, feet warmers, 3 pairs of socks, gloves indoors.
I drink hot tea as soon as I get in from outdoors, which sometimes helps.
I also will have my feet on the heating pad when watching TV.
Something we just have to live with sometimes, as all my dr.s' have said...it could be worse.

Your hands (fingers) and feet (toes) are at the ends of your body (if that makes sense)...they are naturally going to be colder then most areas of your body because it has the least circulation. Try getting into the habit of excersising every morning so that way you've got some good circulation going to start off your day...!

You sound a little on the light side. I would try to put on another 5 pounds and see if that helps. My fingers and toes are always cold this time of year as well. Some days I have to wear gloves in the office just to type. Putting on a little weight would give your body more mass and may keep it warmer.

I'm about your height and weight with the same problem. I have small capilaries in my hands and feet, plus I smoke which restricts them more. It could be that you smoke too. If you do, try to quit, or do as I do and stay indoors most the winter with the heat set to 75-80 degrees.

Cold finger/feet are often a result of poor circulation. It can be helpful to exercise regularly. It can also be helpful to keep moving. Keep your feet up as often as you are able.

It is poor circulation. Plus you have probably almost zero body fat with your height and weight. You might want to ask your Doctor about taking iron, but I just think it is because your weight. Your best bet is to put on about 15lbs.

Vermont Country Store sells something called Warm Cream that might help your fingers and toes. The doctor didn't have anything to say about it when you had your checkup?

My hands and feet are always cold too, could be poor circulation or could be that you are too thin.
