Generally, if he doesn't want me to know about it, then it's cheating. Trying to hide something indicates that he knows he did something wrong. Slightly more realistically, I would be pretty irritated if he kissed another girl. I know some disagree with me, but how would you feel if you saw your significant other kissing (I mean REALLY kissing) another? I know I would be crushed.

Cheating to me is defined as any act that you yourself would feel was inappropriate if done to you. I'm in a relationship and still very good friends with my ex (which my boyfriend is well aware of) so I myself, could not be upset if he were friends with his ex. If him flirting with another girl makes me feel uncomfortable, then I have no right to do the same. It's kind of more of an answer of 'do unto others as you would have done unto you'. If your man looking at another girl makes you fume...don't do the same. That's how I feel about it. I don't think there is one specific act that gets classified as cheating because I think to everyone it's a different thing.

Anything from kissing on, and just be aware that an emotional bond can be just as damaging, if not worse. When the other person is upset with you, they may run to that other person. And whether male or female, many people have bad intentions, and something innocent can turn into something else.

Since when has chronological age ever had anything to do with maturity?
But since you asked, just for the record, cheating is the physical or emotional betrayal of a monogamous relationship.

Sleeping with someone else of course. Kissing someone else. Even porn because that's mental cheating. My husband should not be getting horny over another woman period. It's wrong to lust for another. If you fall in love with someone else but don't act on it it's still cheating. That would be emotional cheating. I don't go for flirting or sexual comments or jokes either. My man better have eyes for one woman and that's me!

I'm male
1) Caring for someone enough to think about or appreciate them and yet having time to go out of your way to somehow want to please someone else instead of who you originally care for.
2) Doing things secretively and knowing if you get caught it would hurt someone else's feelings. (It isn't always just based on someone you love.) Those instances are just more glaring.
3) Anything beyond 1 and 2 above are automatic deal breakers, though at times those two could make me break the ties immediately.

ANY repeated physical or emotional action that brings sexual pleasure. Developing a relationship on an intimate level, even if there's been no physical intimacy (IE- internet relationship that crosses the boundaries from friendship to personal intimacy)

Cheating can be both physical and emotional. Once you establish anything truly intimate with another person, even talking, it has to effect the person you are supposed to be the most intimate with.

Cheating is the act of being with someone not your partner in a sexual way. Flirting is ok, hugs are ok, but once it becomes sexual its cheating in my book. I don't believe in open relationships, or at least when it comes to me. You are either with just me, or not at all.
