We have been together 3 years. I am 29. He is 28. We both work full time. We spend about an hour together a night watching tv after the kids go down. But our sex life is pretty sparce. May be only twice a week. I would like it more but he seems perfectly happy. I want to hear if this sounds normal. Thanks

Turn off the TV and spend that hour doing something more intimate. But twice a week is outstanding!

I'm a stay-at-home mom with three kids, ages 13 (girl), 5 (girl), 2 (boy) and my husband works a full-time job with tons of overtime and another part-time job. We don't have sex that often either. With all of the responsibilities going on and how much we have to do in a day, it's hard to make time for sex. My issue is also because I have postpartum and I didn't feel like having it. My husband stopped asking me because he knew that I was tired and stressed and didn't want to basically bother me. That's what your husband could be feeling too. Ask him. Now we make time for each other and have a lot more sex now. Talk to him and see what's going on, communication is the key. Good luck to you!

If he is fine with it, and you are fine with it there is no problem, we have 4 kids and my poor hubby is lucky if he gets it once every 2 months. Life gets in the way, but if you are so busy outside of the bedroom it boils down to if you are both good with what is happening

Sorry to sound harsh, but welcome to a thing called life. My wife works 12 hour days, Monday thru Friday and I'm in advanced college classes during that same time. We are maybe intimate onece every few weeks, if we're lucky. We're just too tired to do it any more often.

You should be happy that you have sex twice a week. I have been married for a year and a half and have a baby on the way and we are lucky if it is once a week.

ONCE OR TWICE A WEEK IS FANTASTIC!!!!!!! We have 6 they are 9,7,5,3,and one year old twins. We have sex maybe once a month and i am not joking around. It is terrible,but we are so tired and there is no time.He's a surgeon,i'm a midwife, we see eachotherin passing and maybe an hour or two on sundays. Your doin great with once or twice a week!!!!

TV is a sex killer especially if you have it in the bedroom. There is so many interesting things on at every moment.
So it's perfectly normal. Turn off the TV!

twice a week isnt considered pretty sparce in my country. in fact, it's considered very regular in my country!
you could talk to him about this matter as well.
it's true that kids could slow down your love life. but you can also arrange some romantic dates with yr husband now and then. it could help perk up his sexual desire in you.
