Here most of the people are not to present their religion in an understanding way,,... but to bash other religions

Can Counter-blaming/bashing enhance the image of our own faith??

No, but I would guess that a lot of people who do are not secure in their own faith, and therefore must tear others down.

Bashing another religion is not appropriate.
However, pointing out that a certain religious organization is promoting an erroneous idea should not immediately be considered 'bashing'.
First:
It is the orgainization that is being held up to the spotlight, not the people in it. The people may be quite sincere and don't realize their chosen church has a few false ideas. With God, ignorance is an excuse.
Second:
Christians follow Jesus' example. Notice how sternly Jesus spoke to the Pharisees ....Matthew 3:7.
Even in Mark 2:24,25 he uses a stern word choice.
So, if the focus is on the idea, not the individual believing it ....there is place for polite, respectful dialogue.

Christians bashing other faiths makes Christians look judgemental, not at all what a Christian should look like. Bashing does nothing to enhance a person's religion, it makes people want to stay away from those people, even if not all people in that faith think the same way.

Nope, bashing other religions is not ok. It is against Islam.

However, religious fanatics who bash other people's religion are fair game.

You never know who you're going to upset with your questions, as harmless as they may seem to us.

take care.

Telling the truth is not bashing. But here I find more accusations of bashing than I find actual bashing.

Bashing is not good and cannot enhance anything. I believe that we are here to learn to love one another.

It shouldn't and in reality doesn't. Bashing other religions would seem to actually go against some bible rules. (judge not.....love your neighbour....) But Christians are the only guilty ones.

It's too bad, as long as everyone hates believers, or non-believers, or different believers, we will always have hate!!

Nobody else likes Nihilists... and why should I care?

I lay the verbal smackdown on theists for fun. It doesn't serve any more purpose than anything else in the Universe.
