I just found out thtat when my brother died he had death insurance that is to be split equally between my mom & dad but my dad wants to divy it up between us kids (even though I know that wont happen because my dad's sister has him all wrapped around her finger & is going to take that money) but my mom never even mentioned anything about it...should I ask her? I dont want to sound money hungry cause its not like that I just want to know if maybe someone else thinks that all me & my brothers & sister should be entitled to it as well??

Entitled to it, no. But if your parents would like to give you and your siblings some of the money that is their choice. I believe that you would sound like you were on a money grab if you were to ask about it. I'm sure that once your parents leave this world that you and your siblings will benefit at that time from this money.

If your brother left the rest to your Mom and dad,to be divided between your Mom and Dad,stay out of it.Whatever they decide to to do with that money is their business...Please don,t get involved,I see a a mess stirring if you do.......As far as you and your brothers and sisters you are not entitled to anything,he left it to your Mom and Dad,if they share it with you fine if not thats ok too....................

You are not entitled to any of the insurance money. Your brother chose your parents as his beneficiaries, it is up to them what to do with the money. If your dad decides to gift you and your siblings with some of the money consider yourself blessed.

I think you should ask your mom, and ask her to also not mention that you have inquired.
