There is absolutely NO point in getting a flu jab.
You will NOT get the flu again - simply because what makes you have the flu in the first place was the lack of 'little fighters' that deal with that particular illness at the time you got ill. As your flu started to get better- it was because your body started making these specialised fighters. Therefore - next time the flu comes your way - you already have the fighers made up - so you can't get it again.
However - next year - the flu will have a slightly different variation - and your body may need new fighers to deal with it.
WHen you get a vaccination - all they do is inject a very weak version of the illness into your body - not enough to make you ill, but enough for your body to produce the fighers it needs.
hope this was helpful!

Instead of worrying about getting the flu again, I would take the over the counter medicine called "Airborne." It is suppose to help you from getting any germs that are 'airborn.' And if you should get the flu again, I suggest an over the counter drug called "Oscicillium".....I don't think that is the right spelling..it's a rather long name. But it is Homopathteic, and it is GREAT! The only place I can find it is at Walgreens drugstore. But check out other stores. White box w/ orange and yellow stripe across the bottom. And hope you stay well.

get a doctor to check you out before getting the shot. the shot isnt meant totally for young people.younger folks have a better immune system than older people like over 50 and have heart disease among many other diseases.

yes, it should help prevent you from getting it again. As you may have had a different strand then the one that the vaccine works against. Hope you stay well :)

If I were you: I'd wait about 2 weeks to be sure your body has had a chance to recover.

No point getting one, since you already had it.
