Having a friend's birthday, and we want a Japanese or Asian Fusion restaurant in or near Soho in London to go to. We are heading for karaoke after dinner, so need a restaurant with good atmosphere, saki, basically a place to eat and drink enough to want to sing post dinner! Wagamama does not count as good atmosphere!

Group of about 12 people, and ideally need a restaurant that has more than just sushi as well for picky eaters (so hot and cold Japanese or Asian Fusion food)

Thanks!

hi, attempt the Maison Touaregue on the nook of old Compton/Greek street that's a Moroccan and Lebanese eating place, serving North African dishes which incorporate couscous (the homestead forte) and charcoal grills. Downstairs there's a basement bar open until 3am. there is likewise a ballet dancer who entertains the combination of regulars and travelers each Friday and Saturday night. 20 old Compton street, London, W1D 4TW telephone: 020 7439 1063 appreciate and happy birthday on your sister!
