Soundz more like lowlights to me! If you're a brunette and your going for that tone of highlights then you'd have to put blocks of colour or slices of colour to make it stand out enough
If you're getting a fringe you wanna make it stand out, girl! Otherwise go for a honey blonde or caramel (esp if you've got pink cheeks to stay away from copper gold!)
Hope that helps, gotta dash...ciao!

The highlight should go with the colour of your skin and glasses (if you weare one). I believe style is what looks best on you, not what everyone is wearing. You will know if the hairdresser is good, if she/he can help you with these important details. You could also try the computer softwear that changes your hear style for you.

I think you should get:
Chestnut, Dark brown and caramel highlights
or
Copper and caramel highlights
or
copper and dark brown highlights
or
ask the stylist what she thinks suits your colour hair, face shape, colouring etc (They normally know what they are talking about!)

Are your eyes eco-friendly? i think of you will desire to pass to a level 6 Copper Gold. with lots of blonde highlights. Shorten your hair approximately 2-3 inches lots of layers. Face physique... colour will make your eyes "pop"

Seek professional help! If you are getting a totally new haircut go easy on the color and if you are not chainging your haircut too much do something more outgoing with your color. This way it won't be a total shock to you or anyone else.

when it comes to haircolor, its not really what is in "style" that you should think about, its what will compliment your skintone. what looks good on one person might not look good on you. I like the caramel highlights idea tho, if your stylist thinks that will work for you.

Fluorescent yellow. I followed a young thing yesterday and her hair was fluorescent yellow. She was all happy and giggly with her friends (who had really boring looking hair walking next to her!). So if you want a change, go for it, get yourself noticed. She certainly turned some heads!

It would be more fabulous if your highlight is 2 tones lighter than you hair color.

well if your hair is like a medium brown you should get gold-ish highlights. if it's like dark brown close to black you should get red or chestnut.
