um...
This is not a joke.
I swear it isn't....
In 2006, Francis Fesmire of the University of Tennessee College of Medicine received an Ig Nobel prize for medicine when he published "Termination of intractable hiccups with digital rectal massage" in 1988.[1] In an attempt to block the runaway messages on the vagus nerve, Fesmire found that the stimulation of the vagus nerve by digital rectal massage worked, stopping the patients bout of hiccupping. Fesmire also commented "An orgasm results in incredible stimulation of the vagus nerve. From now on, I will be recommending sex – culminating with orgasm – as the cure-all for intractable hiccups.", so perhaps this is a more efficient and desirable cure for intractable hiccups.[3]

In normal course if one gets hiccups the best home remedy is to eat a spoonful of sugar chewing slowly followed by drinking some water. They immediately stop. But your hiccups seem to be of more serious nature. It must be some thing to do with your kidneys. Go for a checkup. In the mean time keep drinking lots of water which will help flush your kidneys. Continuous hiccups also happen if there is dehydration. Until you finish with your presentation try having honey too. It helps

Hicups are a nuiscance, this sounds funny but it will help you, get a glass of water, strike a match and put it in the water, drink the water, there is something from the sulfa in the match that stops hicups, give it a try.

Get someone to push a match (unlit of course) into your hair (if you have any), starting at the hairline, above your right eye.
or
A tablespoon of horseradish or Wasabi or Vodka.
Though if you have had it for 2 days, then there could be pressure on your diaphragm caused by bloating of the stomach. You could try an indigestion tablet that get's rid of trapped wind.
If they don't go after a week, I would seek medical help.

Have you ever had the hiccups when you were sleeping? No! Lay on your back, don't hold your breath. Your body will be fooled into thinking it's asleep and the hiccups will go away. Works every time.

There is a such thing as 'chronic hiccups', which means you have them non-stop for days at a time. Not only does it get annoying, but it also could hurt at times. Go to the doctor. There is pill they can prescribe for it, but it can only be taken right before bedtime. I know someone that this has happened to and one night of taking the medication was all that was needed.

Lime and bitters works amazingly!
Go to a liquor store or grocery store and buy a small bottle of bitters (Bitters do not contain alcohol) and a lime. Slice the lime into wedges, place a few drops of bitters on the lime, then suck the lime wedge with the bitters. I've seen this cure many chronic hiccup problems.

get a bag with no holes in, just a plain carrier bag will do, and then get some air in it...(so you have a little bit to breathe) hold it over your nose and round your mouth with your hands, and take nice big breaths, as the air starts to run out, the hic things go... bloody things. its great tho, and it works every time. should go in about 10-15 seconds.
