Hello,
First of all don't worry about all those comments. I don't think it is a lymph node as they are deep and will not cause obvious swelling. The most likely cause is an infection of the sweat glands, Hidradenitis suppurativa is an annoying chronic condition characterised by swollen, painful, inflamed lesions in the armpits(also affects other areas) which affects 1-2% of the population.
You may need antibiotics but you need to see a doctor just to make sure it is not something else.
Good luck

This sounds like problems with the Lymph Nodes..... Especially if swelling is in the arm-pit area!

It could be due to an infection that your body may be fighting.... at this time of year maybe Flu (early stages)....

It could also be an underlying indicator to something more serious!

SO...... I would suggest you go to see your Doctor ASAP...... Better Safe than Sorry!...... You probably have to give a blood sample and go back a week or so later!

Don't Worry, but get it checked out!

more commonly known as swollen glands, they are in your neck, groin and armpits and becaome sore when they are fighting off infection. Take your temperature and if it's high and you have any other symptoms go to your doctor you may need an antibiotic.

See a dermatologist. Sounds like an infection or an allergy. Switch to a mild soap and a different deodorant and see if it helps.

If you are a female this is early signs of breast Ca. Otherwise infections are generally the cause or an allergy to your underarm deoderant.
