The story itself is fiction...but I believe fiction based on fact.

Preachers and religious people want to say it is all a lie....I think the truth is they do not want the people to know the truth because it would make Jesus more human. The "church" has lied to its people for such a long time that when truth does come out they jump up and down declaring it to be a lie. Remember a lie told long enough and often enough becomes the truth in the minds of those who hear it.

Much of what is preached from most every church is not the whole truth but the truth as that preacher wants you to know it. ALL preachers teach the basics correctly, that Jesus is the Son of God, and that God Loves everyone regardless of who they are or what they do. They do however preach a masculine Bible that has been mistranslated so often to satisfy the current political ideals (of the time translated) that much of the Bible is no longer relevant to its original writings of which there are no longer any copies of.

I personally believe through much research on my own that although fiction, the Da Vinci Code book is based on truth.

Some are true and some are false. I never know whether it's true or not that Jesus marry Mary but i believe that it's true that in my point of view, Jesus is only a human being and not a son of God. The Gos is the only god and Jesus is the messenger. So that's the true part i think. And about killing woman, i think some story from other religion and world history really state this kind of statement but not very sure about it. but it's like true. And it's a great story.

Its completly untrue, and I am not just saying this becuase I am Christian, but in the original painting of The Last Supper, DaVinci labeled all of the people with thier names, no where did it say Mary. Also, the Bible no where says that Jesus had any sons or daughters, or a marriage to Mary M. Now, if he DID have a marriage to her, and had children, there would be nothing wrong with that, becuase he would still be a sinless sacrafice. But his purpose on earth was not to pro-create, it was to come, teach, and die for our sins.

You should research it. Also look at the Divinci Skeptics. He hides behind the veil of fiction. Be wary of false prophets and false prophesies. It is so dangerous. The research I did, finds it to be very false and condemnable if one were to believe in it. God bless.

It is an embellished story based on a few facts. No one ever claimed it to be true.

absolutely not. It's fictional. A bunch of lies.

If you want to know where to start. Go to the Bible and Pray and God will show you the truth.

No. They take half truths and true sounding things and work with people's prejudices to make it believable.
