Sony MDR-7506 - Closed Muff Headphones. Standard use in TV location recording, they give a flat response across 20HZ to 20KHZ and cost about £130 (ish) pounds. You can also replace pretty much every part of them so if they get trashed you don't have to buy a brand new pair.
Very good for music, post production and flipping brilliant on airplanes.

Seconded, Sony DJ ones, although watch out because they're not the most robust. Sony are known for great products that fall apart easily
