If I'm getting as much as possible done- iron count, heaglobin- red blood cell count, blood sugar count, checking for anemia or diabeties or cronic fatigue

How long do I fast for?

You don't fast DURING the blood test, but BEFORE the blood test. The docs normally say 12 hours. You need to ask to be sure though.

Hi Sammy, hope you are feeling better. Make the appointment for early morning time, and don't eat or drink anything after midnight. Nothing until they do the test, then do what I do and hit a buffett..Good luck

normally the dr, will tell you no food or drink after midnight the night before you are going to be tested, most of these test can be gotten from a blood test called chemistry profile.
