Ladies, when you're on a date, and you have to go to the bathroom, do you ask your date for permission to go? Or do you go without asking permission? Or do you just 'hold it in' until you get home?

[I have dated several girls who, when we were on a date and they needed to use the ladies room, would ask me for permission to go to the bathroom. Do a lot of other women do this, or were those women just weird?]

Ask permission????? Are you nuts? No, you politely excuse yourself. Anyone that insecure that has to ask for permission to go to the bathroom is in need of some help!

I'm pretty sure that I would not ask permission. I'm sure I would say something like, "I'll be right back. I'm going to the bathroom." or something like that. If I was at a guy's house I would probably ask something like, "Where is your bathroom?" Or something like that. Either way I wouldn't read too much in to it. I'm sure whoever the girls were were just trying to be polite. I can't say that I have ever asked permission though.

I politely say "excuse me" and go to the bathroom. I don't ask permission for much on a date, I figure I'm old enough to make up my own mind.

LOL....ask permission, that's so funny.

I would excuse myself from the table, but that is certainly not the same as asking for permission.

Those women are a bit weird...sorry.

I make it more of a statement than a question. I dont phrase it like "Is it ok if I go to the ladies room?". If its said like "Im going to the ladies room, ok?" I dont take that as asking permission, but a consideration of letting you know where she is going so you dont think she is ditching you.

I'm not asking anyone's permission to go to the restroom. I will excuse myself and just go. Polite, but not subservient.

Jesus, I hope you're joking, it's one thing to excuse yourself for this need but another to ask this permission. Can I ask, where these dates mail order? With coupon?

Do you mind if use the loo is not really a question, more like a stament that I need to go but, in a polite manner. We don't expect you to say "you do mind"...who would stop someone from going pee???

We're chicks some of us are a bit complicated.
