While it is true there is no mention of Jesus marrying in the Bible, this doesn't mean that it is true. The Bible doesn't mention Christ's life between (roughly) the age of 12 and 30 - but we assume that he didn't skip over those years. (In fact, who is to say that that was the exact time that Jesus did have a family?)

The fact is, despite being 'the good word', religious texts (including The Bible) were written down, translated, and interpretted by humans. The words of the Supreme Being might be perfect, but humans are fallable. Things get lost in translation, people 'leave out' and edit something they don't believe sounds right (for the best, of course), and who knows what kind of 'Chinese whispers' have gone on when one human tells another human what is written or said. In the past, in the present, and in the future, literal translations of the Bible will cause as many crises of faith as it mends. (I fully realise that this is a huge discussion, and I have just attracted the anger of a LOT of people.) It doesn't make the Bible any more or less valid than it was at any other point in time (if you go for that kind of stuff), but it makes sense that it is a theological work that draws on 'historical' events rather than a literal account.

The works of Dan Brown are fiction in and of themselves. They do contain some thoughtful suppositions, and would encourage anyone (Christian or otherwise) to discuss the ideas proposed. Jesus Christ may have been the son of God, but he was also a man.

Did Jesus Christ have any children? Maybe and maybe not. It's not like there is any evidence for or against.

(If so,) are there offspring alive today? Well, after 2000 years, no not really. Two millenia is a long time to accurately trace ancestry, so any descendants would be just as related as any of us are to ancestors 2000 years removed....

(For the record, I tend toward the agnostic/aetheist end of the scale.)

If Jesus had kids, He would've had to be married (because it is stated that He led a sinless life) and there is no mention anywhere in the Bible of kids or a wife. Those are very important parts of life in the Bible and thus would've merited a mention. "Facts" that are made up hundreds of years later cannot be trusted. Study the original stuff and check it's credibility. Read The Case For Christ by Lee Strobel - He talks about the historical reliability of the gospels according to the same standards any ancient documents face.

There is no historical evidence to support the idea that Jesus was married or had children. Many secular writers wrote about Jesus and none ever mentioned a wife or children. None of Jesus' original followers wrote of Jesus having a wife or children. There is no record of them mentioned anywhere.

No. Jesus never married, never had kids. Seriously, his marriage would have been in the bible if it ever happened. Weddings were a big deal, a time to party. If he had a wife and kids, he would have asked for someone to take care of them from the cross.

If you read the bible, neither things are mentioned, so it never happened. It's a lie cooked up to get people to turn away from the church.

How approximately an OR no longer! on the final Supper, Jesus broke bread, He gave slightly to each of His Disciples. Telling them that that's the Flesh of His physique, for this reason they might desire to consume it. Then He poured a Goblet of Wine and handed that around and suggested to them, Drink this, for it represents the Blood of my physique. We Christians try this extremely plenty. to coach our admire to Him for His Sacrifice for us. God Bless Ya, Chicago Bob imasinner there is greater exhilaration in Jesus in one day. In my opinion, it's purely speculation whether he did or didn't do it while here. I mean, can the bible really chronicle EVERY second of his life? Arent there like 18 years missing? Who is to say what happened. I wasn't there, neither was anyone else there that's still alive, so they are idiots if they say either way.

No, Jesus never had sexual intercourse on Earth. If he did the Bible will state it and NO WHERE does it speak of Christ having children.
