Guys don't cue in to subtle hints. I would fully accept a woman to run up and do that. It removes any doubts and then we could get on with the relationship.
Maybe not "I love you" but best to say "I like you", "I think you're cute", "Lets go out". Guys get a little spooked when the "I love you" shows up too soon.

No, you'll end up freaking him out, and have him running for the hills! Men hate Women who are too pushy and rush things. Why not go up to him and say "I like you, would you like to go out for a drink sometime?"

no , i wouldn't do it tht way the best way to say it is when you two are alone then you tell him how you feel about him because if u go up to him and tell him i love you and there's more chances tht he wouldn't say anythin and walk away or he'll say no
