I think real love causes both parties to lay themselves down and to become "one" with eachother. . .not that they become one person. . .but, that they work together to make the life they invision together. . .they work together to help eachother become the people they were meant to be. . .the potential can be so realizsed with so much more ease if the person you love is there supporting you and you give that same support.
I think he is elaborating on the passion that comes with what love can give us. . .what it has to offer. . .

If that was the case and I listened to my head I would take everything back from Liz and forget all about her, but since I am listening to my heart first, I keep treating her like a princess and doing my best to make her life better and easier, while she ignores me and treats me like crap all the time, spending all her free time with others and never even saying thank you for the stuff I do for her. But I am in love with her, and he knows it, so she knows she can get away with just about anything at all, but I have to admit, that line is getting shorter and shorter and my head is starting to take over.

I'm very logical, but when my hormones kicked IN. All bets are off.
I caught my self driving 200 miles just to spend the night with someone that I loved and missed- then showered, coffe and hit the road to drive that same distance back to school and work.
My husband did the same thing for me for 48 hours timeframe. Its a tough thing to be in love. That's why is called "crazy in love"!

Perhaps you should listen to your mind before your heart. However, not everyone does. All those things aobut love sometimes are really about infatuation. (or "falling in love", being "in love" rather than a mature love)
Some people, no matter the situation, ever get silly in love. We are all different.

If you have been burned by love in the past the you listem to your head alot more then your heart, but if you still have the silly notions of love and all that silly stuff then you do crazy stuff. That the way of the world. Stupid

Thats why most women are considered "evil"... cause it seems like these days, its the men that are the corny, lovey dovey and all that mess... Life is too dang short to be logical... live it... let go... you are supposed to listen to your heart and your mind... they balance each other out. Your mind will not let your heart get hurt,... and your heart will not let you lose your mind... if theres balance..

It is not obsession.
If you love someone you would DO ANYTHING for them. I would die for my fiance'. If he asked me to do something so stupid I would do it and I know he would do it for me. Yes you listen to your mind and heart, but that person you love should know your heart and mind, so if they love you they wouldn't make you do anything stupid.

its very true. and you dont regret it until after you broke up with that person/. then you realize you let everybody around you down. and then you realize that they still love you cuz they are there when you need them. and to me that is worth more then a special someone. if they cant take my fam and friends then i dont think its a right match.
