Ashtaroth was a goddess of the Phoenicians and Zidonians, worshipped by Israel after the death of Joshua, and by Solomon. Ashtaroth was the chief female goddess and Baal the chief male god, and they are often named together. Josiah destroyed the emblems of her worship as introduced by Solomon. Ishtar, the earth Goddess. A goddess of great physical beauty but being the favourite daughter of El very headstrong, and spoiled by always getting her way. This means she is lustful, not chaste and vengeful and spiteful.

She was a Mesopotamian goddess. She started out as a false one, but later a very much alive evil spirit took over, as they do with false gods. That is why she is dangerous.

ashraroth was not a god, but a statue. I believe Queen Jezebel worshiped him along with Baal, and we see what he/they did for her.
nothing. They could not do nothing becuase they were made of stone and could not hear, speak, feel, think or touch

Astaroth is a daemon of the Goetia. He is very powerful, but his status as a "god" is questionable.
