Sincerely, I wouldn't take at face value anything about the Church I hear on the media. usually their commentators are less than half informed and less than half qualified to deal with the specialised nature of the subject. Regarding your remarks about hypocritical Catholics using artificial contraception all I can say is: If the cap fits, they should wear it. I will defend the truth of the faith to my last breath, but I wouldn't waste a single breath on the indefensible e.g. contracepting 'Catholics', cover-up 'Shepherds' etc.
Maybe you didn't know that about the Church and contraception, but Catholics should! You are absolutely correct in your conclusion, except for the 'all' bit, only about 90% or so...

A Catholic may use natural family planning but, at anytime that intercourse takes place there must be an avenue left open for the creation of life. This is why chemical or surgical birth control is not allowed. Homosexuals engaged in homosexual acts have always been against the Church's doctrine. Being a homosexual is not against the Church, the Church is there for sinners. The homosexual act is the sin , not the person who has this disorder.
When you say Thank goodness, you are in effect saying Thank God as there is no good other than him.

So atheist don't want anything to do with God? To each their own! But at the same time you atheist should get rid of all your money, cause it has " In God We Trust " on it . what do you say to that? As for gays, read the Bible about that. And about heterosexuals not using any kind of birth control, except the rhythm method. Sex isn't the most important thing in a marriage!

You misunderstand. The Catholic Church has alwasy taught that contraception is a sin. It has always taught that the act of homosexual sex is a sin. A homosexually orineted person is expected to be celibate. If you are being celebate, there is no need to disclose your orientation to anyone, because it really doesn't matter since you're not having any sex with anyone.
What's the big deal?
