I have great friends, male and female. I am able to get the male perspective, honestly, from someone who has no reason to lie to me, and they get the same from me. And it's fun to hang out with a guy who has no expectations other than having a good time. I pick my friends by the kind of people they are, not by their color, sex, preferences or anything else. By the way, why are you angry?

I actually believe women DO want guy friends friends without the sexual tension and romantic entanglements.
But I don't think that's possible. One person in the relationship will always want something more from the other.
Men and women are biologically attracted to each other. Nothing will change that.
Our species would have died out long ago if it did.

Most women tht need a guy friend aren't ready to settle down or they aren't finding their mate as their best friend. I had many guy pals before marriage but since I married my best friend, I have no desire to hang with the guys. MY hubby and I talk about everything, everything. We do everything together. Even when we offer each other some time apart or with our friends, we would rather be with each other because we connect, we agree and disagree but we know that we aren't perfect. It's all about communication and not getting mad over stupid things. The other reason a girl wants guy friends, she cheats.

Alot of women can talk to men better than women as friends only.
But if friendship turns romantic sometimes it ruins the friendship entirely especially if they break up.
Anyway, woman do have men friends and nothing is going on except friendship only like the brotherly type.

friendship is a great way to get to know a guy you might want to date, and sometimes girls do just pretend to be friends with a guy (or another girl for that matter), just to get something from them or to get close to someone else through them, but girls also do just like having guys as friends just for the sake of being friends. sry, you'll have to look at the specifics of your situation to figure out what's going on.

no I am a woman and I love my guy friends as just that, friends. They give different perspective on things because men and woman are so different and there is not as much drama with them as with my woman friends. Just fun to be around.

yes. some of my best friends in high school and college were guys. i just didnt like the cattiness of women and the backstabbing/drama that goes on. plus guys are logical (sometimes) so the insight was always good.

Absolutely, we want guy friends. They tend to be less judgemental, and sometimes easier to get along with. Most of my friends always have been and still are guys.
