I friend of mine e-mailed me some cool 8x10 photos, but they are in .tif format. I would like to upload to a photo developing website and have them print for me. However, they only accept .jpeg files.

how do I covert these??

Open them in a software program such as Photoshop, then save them as jpgs. When you do Save As, you should get a menu that asks what format you want it to be saved as, and you can choose jpg.

Open the file, go to file-save as, from the drop down list of file type select jpeg
