even if they don't like you back and never give you attention? Is it ok to live in the thinking that someday they may like you?

it is okay to love someone for that long.. but if they dont pay attention to you, dont pass up other realtionships that could turn out to be good just for him. best of luck and i hope it works out for you =)

i do the same thing. Have you told him how you feel though? i normally don't, i like to keep my crushes secrests so i dont get rejected.
my best friend helped me out alot with this advice though: you need to tell him that you like him. theres a good chance he has NO IDEA how much you like him! (boys can be stupid about this) and if you tell him, his perspective of you might change a lot for the better, you know ... he might start giving u attention! If he doesnt "like" u back, then yeah that sucks, but atleast you can get over him and find someone who does. and maybe down the road he'll think back like, 'maybe i should give her a call and see if she's still interested.' im in your same situation, i just havent found the right way to tell my friend i like him yet though. (I will, i swear) i feel for ya, good luck!

kinda sweet to know that romance can last that long... or is even romance. if the guy's a jerk, still ignoring you or something like that, you're definitely wasting your time. move on and find someone else who'll actually not let you wait for 7 years. but if he does notice you, then go for it. better to take chances now or never and just regret those times that you could've had a chance to "do something." promise me, that's always my mistake but i've already learned from it.

Yeah my advice it to move on and forget about him/her . LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO WASTE TIME.You could be finding the love of your life .
