i want to use my pc as a telephone i want to dial the no.with the key board instead of telephone digits i also want to recieve all my calls through my pc help me plz.is there any such facility in win xp like fax services provided by xp.

you have many providers to choose from now...which is great for us...here are some I use...

Its free...if both paties have it downloaded on there PC...you also can call...PC to phone...which is called in/out....there give you a real phonenumber not a SIP number...

Sometimes the software comes free with an external modem purchase. The above links are sites that have the software, one or two of them are shareware products, the others have various prices depending on features that you may or may not need.

As far as dialing out. Microsoft Outlook has a call function for people and numbers in your contact list.
