when your out girls what is the first thing you look for in a man to consider them a possiblity as dating material? And uh, How long should a relationship go before you declare it bf/gf???

i like a guy that can easily make me smile. and depending on how you "click" depends on when you're bf/gf.
my bf and i were pretty good friends before we started dating. i just blurted out i wanted to kill him. the next day i told him i wanted to give "us" a try. we've been dating over 3.5 years now.
my ex; we hung out for a while before-hand, then went to homecoming together. i didnt really want to date him, i wasnt ready for dating. but after that night everyone thought we were making out in the car when i fell asleep on his shoulder on the way home, so they all assumed i was dating, so we gave it a try. we were together 5 years. i didnt want to date him tho cause he had this really bad smugness to him that was a real turn off.

As far as dating is concerned, for a day, only the weight of the wallet matters (different if he is a card holder!) and his dressing style matters and his body language matters. But when it comes to seriously considering a man for a long term relationship is concerned, the looks do matter because we women start thinking about the children that is going to be "ours"(after all which mother doesn't want their children to be angels!).
A person is given the title of gf/bf when mutual trust, understanding and mutual physical comfort comes up along with care, love and lifelong promise comes into the picture.

I know I am a guy but here is my take!
As a TOTAL geek, I know American Girls look for "trophy" men. They want to say to their girl-friends. Hey this is my handsome boyfriend. They don't want to say "This is my geeky boyfriend he makes more money than yours". They would prefer to have someone as a beautiful TROPHY!
Asian girls for the most part see me as someone who can raise a LARGE family. Why are looks sooo important. That trophy husband who becomes a couch potato won't look soooo good in 30-40 years! Then what? Divorce city!!! I wonder if that is why SOOOO many people get divorced in AMerica.

You should be bf/gf when you are ready to get serious. This could be 1st date or 1 month or 1 year later. It all depends on you and your gf. There should not be a timeline. It all depends on love and your ability to communicate and TRUST a person! You need trust. One of my ex-gf's spent a month in my bed with NO sex! Because she trusted me. Our first date she spent the night, then kept staying because she trusted me! because of this our love grew quickly! That is REAL love when TRUST is there!
My current gf keeps dumping me like water out of a glass because she doesn't trust me. What a pain in the neck!!!!
TRUST is the key to a GREAT relationship!!!!

The first thing that I look for in a guy, is his personality. I like guys that can make me laugh ALL the time. after that I look s follow. I think that it depends on how deep inton the relationship, you are to declare a bf/gf.

when a boy looks me in the eye and smiles, usually i decide to look into the possibilities. i would say about a week or two for how long the relationship should go before you consider him a bf

The first thing I look for is a man who smiles. If he doesn't have a sense of humor and is serious, that means he has issues so watch out. You should go out two years before you can be sure of who a person is.

Well the first thing I look at his his teeth,clean white teeth tells me a lot.Dress means a lot also...Attitude is another.I would want to be with someone long enough to see all sides of his personality,like when hes happy or unhappy,his temperment,etc and how he reacts to certain situations..only then would i consider him my b/f,and only if I liked what i saw....

His goals in life, his attitude, demeanor. You'll know if he's dating material once you get to know him. After a few days you can declare to be officail bf/gf.

cmon, the first thing people look at , is the body, then the face, then back to the body. hey admit it, if you a cute girl, you'll might talk to her, but is shes cute and has an amazing body, you'll definetely talk to her, but then thats where the personality kicks in. thats how you decide if they are dating material. and it all depends on the two of you

i always look for a guy that doesnt seem to have n e interest in me and is decent looking... im not a supermodel.. so he doesnt have to be one either...
ya know...
i tend to like guys with a caramel complection and dark hair and eyes... thats just me... it all depends on what makes ur body say hey look at me sexy
