they can and usually do but you still want seperate cages so they can have their own space too. i have seen parakeetes, finches, and chickens all in the same cage before and get a long fine mine you it was the size of a bedroom and i could walk around freely in it. they just have to be able to make their own space when needed.

If the parakeet is gentle, it can get alongside tremendous with a cockatiel. Parakeets (budgies) in general are extra aggressive than cockatiels, so that you may exercising discretion. possibly you should introduce the parakeet into the cockatiel's cage extremely of any opposite direction round. I had an older woman cockatiel who replaced into grieving and does not stop laying eggs after her mate died. After attempting each and everything else without achievement, I were given her a youthful hand-fed parakeet. She stop laying eggs and they grew to develop into ideal friends. finally she died also, so my daughter (by marvel) offered a youthful cockatiel to keep the parakeet agency. they are reliable friends.

It would depend on the birds themselves, but in general yes, you can keep parakeets and cockatiels together in the same flight. But keep in mind, cockatiels do require bigger perches, and slightly different feed.

NO, because parakeets, are Nasty Little birds. They pick fights
or bite the cockatiels. They don't even get along with their own kind.

The cockatiels can become aggressive. I would not put them in the same cages. They will kill the Parakeet. Put in separate cages.

Yes, they can. We kept ours in their own cages side by side. When they showed signs of wanting to play together, we let them out on a playstand. Watch the 'keet closely though. Even though they are smaller than 'tiels, they have a more fiesty personality & could end up bullying them.

they can if you dont have too many budgies. Budgies can gang up on other birds. They can intimidate much larger birds, like a ringneck or sun conure.
