He was going away to one jail and then being transferred to the next so he told me that he didnt want me to be lonely and to get another boyfriend that he just made me promise that I would still love him when he got out, so I did and I cheated on him and I don't know if he was serious so i dont know if i should tell him. I dont want to lose him! I love him more than anything in the world! What should I do?

Actually, you wern't cheating, since he told you to get another boyfriend while he was locked up, and to go back to him when he got out. You probably should NOT tell him all the details - that would just hurt his feelings. And, since he's in jail, and has nothing to do all day but think, he would just get really mad and might not want to date you again when he comes back home.
So, it's OK for you to date other guys while he's in jail, becuse he said it's OK, but don't tell him about the guys you dated, because that would just hurt his feelings, and your relationship.

Oh girl,nooo. Get out of that relationship -no woman deserves to be treated like that. He said he was srry but i dnt see him ever changing. Once a man thinks he can push u around he wont quit. U deserve better! Sure you may feel attatched to him but c'mon when he finds out he will be angry and theres a good chance he will hurt you :( just end it before it gets worse. Seeing as he likes to hit-if u wanna break up in person take a man with u who can fight,otherwise do it over the phone. Some people may think its wrong to break up via phone but in cases like this --its definitely the smarter way to go. Good luck,best wishes and PLEASE be careful!

well, when guys usually say something there are two possibilites to the answer, one, he was serious about you not being lonely and wanted you to be happy. or the second one, he was screwin with ur head to see what you would do as far as your relationship is concered. I would tell him the truth because hes the one that stuck his foot in his mouth in the firstplace. and also as the old saying goes... HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY!!!

Ok! I think you should tell him if you love him seriously you know truth is the best and honest thing to do and the truth always set you free. If he said go and have another boyfriend I think it's ok to let him know what happened.

If he is in Jail, he isnt really worth it, sorry to say, you can do better. dont make promises you cant keep.
