I have a 2 yr. old white faced male that has a all white face with a grey body. He sits on your shoulder, loves his head scratched, whistles beautiful tunes and says several phrases but he doe nip if he doesn't want to go back into his cage. I have a 1 yr. old yellow lutino female who is an absolute sweetie who will sit on your shoulder all day long and loves her head scratched. She is very affectionate but can be moody, she'll nip but never hard. I also have an almost all white female with a couple patches of grey who I call "Baby", she is also 1 yr. old. I might keep the yellow female. I'd like to sell the male and female together since they love each other. I have nicely sized cages and toys for them. I have to get rid of atleast the oldest male because they have gotten way too noisy and my Mom can no longer tolerate them. Would $100 for both with a cage and supplies plus a $10 care book be a good deal?

i think that would be a great price too, not giving them away, so better chance at better homes, and they are not babies which are wanted more and you are not a pet shop so.. 100$ for both cage and supplies is a good deal, just make sure the people know all that they need to and will provide well for them Good luck :)

Depends on where you are selling them, in a classified aid, to a pet shop, at a bird show, etc... A pet shop for example would price the white face and the luntino at around $100 each, at a bird show you might could find a white face or a luntino cockatiel for $35. To me, a $100 for a pair of tame cockatiels /w cage sounds like a good deal. Just be careful who you sell them to, you don't want them ending up being used as breeders. Make sure the person you sell them to knows that they are pets. It is always a good idea to kept pair-bonded birds together because cockatiels mate for life.

And any male cockatiel you get is going to be noisy, that's just the way they are, they are trying to impress the female.

That would be a good price. But maybe it should be negotiable.
Most people want a bargain. You may think they are worth alot of $$$, but to other people might not think so. Especially, if they are real noisy. Good Luck.
