Y is it that the word's "serious relationship" "long term relationship" "commitment" scare guys so much? I recently broke up with my bf because i felt he wasn't giving into the relationship like i was. How do you know when your ready to settle? I meet him & I love him so much. I hate the fact that he doesn't love me the way i love him. It started w/him telling me that he needed space at our 13 or 14 months into our relationship. I mean i know he has family issues, but y are they scared? I love being with him, i never, not even 1 min. get sick of being with him. I miss him so much, its only been about 1wk and i feel so sad. I feel like i am missing something, i went out dancing in the wkend and i felt lonely. He says that he's not ready for commitment, i don't believe that b/cuz u don't know when your ready for that it just happens, doesn't it? He says he loves me and he doesn't want to lose me , i told him we can't be friends. did i do the right thing? 1 yr & 5 together. 1st bf!

its so hard to let go, especially when its so drastic, from talking to ea. other everyday to not seeing him or anything at all!

You may be the one with commitment problems. Most guys don't want to get serious before 30!
