I had someone call me from restricted # and they said it was a calling card, do they usually show up restricted #'s. They called on my cell phone

When my grandma calls me using her calling card, it usually shows up with a phone number from Atlanta, GA, and she is in Kansas. We usually buy her calling cards at Wal-Mart or Sam's Club. I think it just depends on the company issuing the calling card as to what shows up on your caller ID.

Since you have to dial the prepaid card phone, your number doesn't appear on the caller id of the person you're calling. You will be safe :). Also you can try *67 before you dial any number and your number will be blocked so no body will now the number you're calling from.

yes since using a calling card, you have to use the toll free number... these types of businesses will usually block their numbers from the caller ID

the calling card # won't show up.. the # of the phone your calling from will..

usually different cities in the US show up!!! where ever there have the access numbers from...
