Our 1 year is coming up on Friday. And I know that he got me a promise ring, it is suppose to be a suprise, but he talked to one of my good friends about it and she couldn't keep it from me. I need to get him a gift, but I have no idea what to get him. I mean.. nothing I think of measures up to a promise ring!!?? Pleeeeeease help me out girls & guys. About what I should get him.

get him an ipod with songs that you both love and pics of both of you.

You could get him a chain or a watch with a personal message engraved on it. Or maybe a romantic basket filled up with treats and little things that symbolise you as a couple, for example, your favourite song as a single CD and other little thinsg you know have great sentimental value.
You could have a song played for him on the radio and if you wanted to be really extreme you could have a star named after him!

a idea is get him a promise ring also. My friend gave his girlfriend a promise ring, and she went out and got one also.
Some other idea could be calone, ummm not sure. If it was me, I would give him a promise ring. That's if you really love him and want to be with him.

If you get him something too nice (especially jewelry) he may suspect the promise ring. Plan a nice romantic evening for the two of you.

For a man, get him a Playstation or a PSP.. Serious. You might want to get him a watch, jewelry, etc, etc.. He will accept you and love you for it. But on the real, he will love you forever if you get him something that is cool to him, not what you or your friends think that is cute. When it comes to gift, cut out the mushy stuff...
