Im a Hibs fan and i think we could have a good chance too, i think its to early to say at the moment who will finish second, with 2nd place to 7th place only seperated by 4 points its probably going to be one of the best seasons yet for the fight for 2nd place...

Rangers have been poor so far but we will have to wait and see if there win over dunfermline brings a run in form or not.

Aberdeen are playing well and could be a contender.

Hearts are ....well just a panto at the moment, you never know whats coming next!

Hibs, we have started brightly under John Collins but to early to say whether he will bring consistency to our game, we probably play some of the best football in the league when we are in form but consistency wise we are poor.

Kilmarnock Inverness and Falkirk would normally not be contenders however they could be an outside bet.

Its been a good season so far, except for Celtic running away with it, i don't mean that in an anti celtic way, just the fact that as far as the title is concerned its already over..

Good luck to all the teams, except hearts! ;)

Well, given the current form of Rangers and Hearts at the moment, there is every chance they could achieve that goal, but there is a long way to go in the season. Aberdeen will have to keep injuries down to a minimum because I don't think their squad has much depth to it in terms of experience. The thing with Aberdeen though is, that they can be inconsistent. They can just as easily go on a long losing streak again and struggle to stay in the top 6. Rangers are bound to get it right somewhere down the line and if they do, then it might not augur well for the Dons. But even if they do manage to win a Champions League spot, do they have the necessary experience of European competition to cut the mustard? I don't think they do.

at the moment, its looking good anit it, we have all our top players back, i was at the motherwell game and even though it was only 2-1 they were impressive, and aint it about time we started getting last minute goals too, instead of conceding them in the last minutes, what everone does not realise is jimmy has been building that team for a couple of years now and he is getting them to play the way he wants he is a top coach, also alot of his players are on the fringe of the scotland team, we are defending well and now we are scoring goals, the rest better watch out underestimate aberdeen at there pearl, aberdeen are also traditionally a better side after xmas, we have came though the worst of the injurys now, other teams will start to get there injurys, ''watch this space'' your right about rangers and hearts, rangers are a joke right now they were lucky to beat aberdeen at home, as for hearts thats a pantomine they will be ok this year but they will get relegated next year that guy is gonna leave and hearts are gonna be in sum serious debt, they will lose alot of players in january and dont be surprised if jimmy pull's of another matermind plan to get sum of there players, infact i will go as far and say hibs are the side thats gonna worry me more this season, there side is like ours full of up and coming scottish talent, unlike the forgin legion of the oaf firm and hearts

il be getting my passport out for the champions league next year

It is very doubtful. You see Rangers, as years ago, were slow starters, will knit together and surprise everyone including Celtic.
It is possible that if Rangers win all their games from now to the end of the season, and Celtic drop points. Who knows..........
