hi guys, since months back, my anus has been bleeding and I have been suffering from discomfort in my anus. When tyhe muscles in the anus are tightened, i can feel the pain contracted in it, and sometimes, it bleeds. Now, it bleeds even more, and i can see traces of blood whenever i wipe the area. It can be frightening, and when i felt my anus, i can feel a small lump at it. what could it be?

First and foremost, thank you for all of your support, and I really appreciate them. You guys are great and I am really thankful to have a bunch of community here, who are caring and nice.

I went to see the doctor this morning, due to the unbearable pain, and found out it was Piles, but non-stop bleeding, even till now. So, the doc actually gave A buller-shaped pain killer to be inserted into the anus and anti-hemmoroid tablets. Some cream to apply: Anusol

That's the outcome for now, but further check-ups needed to be done, as the doctor wants to 'screw my ***" to see if there is any infections deep inside my anus. I do not think thats necessary as I do not have anal sex contractions, but then again: is it necessary?

There are many things that can cause your bleeding. Thankfully the most common is hemorrhoids which are most likely inside and will need to be removed. Another cause may be a polyp which in most cases are nothing, but they can be cancerous. Another cause can be a Fissure which is a cut, most of the time close to the anus itself and usually painful. Go to you doctor, he will most likely send you for a Flexible Scmodospcy (sp). That is a uncomfortable test but worth it if you have cancer.

You're getting a lot of suggestions of hemorrhoids. That is a good possibility. Another is colon polyps. They can and do form right at or near the opening. If it is a polyp, have it taken care of immediately. They're seldom cancerous when first formed, but will always become cancerous if neglected.

You should go to a doctor. Some hemorrhoids need surgery. Some can be banded and others just need medication.
This is manageable and can be fixed. Don't suffer with it any longer.
I hope it is just an abrasion. But polyps, fistulas and cancer can occur so why wait. Get checked out.

The possibilities are too numerous to write down. My suggestion is to not try to guess what is happening but to go directly to your dr. and find the exact cause of this problem. It's imporant that you get this taken care of ASAP. Good luck, and get going, ok? please?.... Let us know what you find out.
My father had bleeding like this for several months and just chalked it up to hemorrhoids until I told him he should go to the dr and get it checked out. He went to the dr, and they did a colonoscopy on him and found out he had colon cancer. They had to do surgery, remove his colon, put a bag on him to use bc his colon was taken out, and then he died a year later bc the cancer had already spread too far. Not to scare you..but you should NEVER guess about these things or wait to find out. Go ASAP to the dr. Time could be the difference between life and death. Good luck to you once again. I truly hope all goes well for you.

Are you sure it is your anus. What are your symptoms. If accompanied by itching or swelling then probably it's the piles. Otherwise a large majority of Lower GI tract problems can be guessed. For example Colon Cancer, even severe IBS.

You could be suffering from haemerroids or the on-set of anal fissures which are tiny tears that occur in the lining of the sphincter tissue.

If this occurs more so when you defacate the I'd say they were fissures, otherwise you have piles.

SEE a doctor................you've waited long enough!
May be a tear from anal sex, bleeding hemorrhoid, a tumor or bleeding is higher up & the bleeding occurs when you have a BM.

Those little lumps in your anus are hemorrhoids....they are painful especially if you are constipated....I know they have some over the counter stuff (prep h) and some suppositories (ask pharmacist)....try those...if they don't relieve you go see a doc.

Sounds like hemorrhoids to me and yes they hurt. You may need to go see your doctor just to be on the safe side.
