Is there a switch that would work like a pull-pin (like a grenade)? The Pos/Neg would be separated by a non-conductive pin, and activate when the pin is pulled (by closing the circuit).

I've looked on electronic supply shop websites, but can't find it.

Look for an elevator stop switch - they often operate in a push/pull fasion.
