There are three terms used for "mutt" cats or cats that are not purebreds. They are Domestic Shorthair, Domestic Mediumhair or Domestic Longhair. Cornbread looks like a Domestic Mediumhair.
His color and pattern would be described as an orange tabby.

Cornbread is a domestic long or medium hair with orange tabby markings. Simply a domestic long/medium hair orange tabby.
My ex mother-in-law had a kitty Tommy that like exactly like Cornbread. Tommy lived to be 17 years old and he was a super cool kitty.
