Not eating is not a quick way to lose weight. The body starts to retain fat when it sees that there is nothing coming in.
Best way - eat lightly and drink a lot of water.

Forget about what is quickest. There is no quick and easy way which will work long term. I'm afraid the only permanent solution is to change your lifestyle. Not eating will only slow your metabolism and encourage you to eat junk foods and get a quick sugar fix.

Here are a few suggestions. It may or may not be the quickest way but it will be permanent:-

Have 5 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones - this is better energy management. Don't skip meals.
Eat lots of fruit and drink lots of water - less hunger and more energy. No dehydration. Better bowel movement.
Exercise 30-60 minutes every day if you can. This burns calories and increases your metabolism. Lean muscle mass burns off much more calories at rest than body fat.
Get a good nights sleep. This also helps metabolism and reduces fatigue.
Always have something in your mind to remind you of your goal. Find something that inspires you. I find watching episodes of The Biggest Loser while I am on my exercise bike is very helpful. :)

Apply the first law of thermo-dynamics. Which says expend or burn more energy than you consume =energy loss or weight loss.

But in all seriousness the best way to loose weight is to a) reduce your meal portion sizes on a daily basis & hence calory intake & b) increase your activity or energy out put i.e. exercise more or start to exercise at all.

Do some form of exercise that you enjoy because its NOT going to work if your hating every second you do it (thats just sheer masochism & not required).

Set a goal or aim at a lowering your weight by a certain amount but do it slowly because if you loose weight quickly the odds are you'll put back on quickly. Thats the problem with ALL these faddy trendy diets shown in the media.

Quick diets won't work because you're losing more body fluid than fat, and/or a load of muscle!
Best bet is to drop the calories, keep an eye on the saturated fats in food and tie it all in with a little more exercise. Do some cardio and resistence (weights) and you'll keep muscle and lose fat. Do it about 4 times a week and you'll see visible results in about 3 weeks.

Also try switching from full sugar drinks like Coke to diet drinks like Diet Coke or Fanta Z - you get used to it really quick, and it has absolutely no calories or sugars - the best thing to drink after water. Even juice is filled with natural sugers.

Exercise, diet that's wise, and you should get rid of your tum!

I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water.

It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me.

A sight with some really cool diet calculators and interesting calorie counting calculators is here. Check it out.

Stay motivated, and get up and walk every day. I seriously lost all my weight starting off my day on my walk.

Good LUCK!

I've lost 54 lbs in 17 weeks, no fad diet either. Don't "not eat". That slows your metabolism down. Eat veggies and fruits and exercise more than thirty minutes twice a day. I've done it all. From walking, running, Taebo, Tony Little Gazelle, weights and bicycle. Then more you do, the more comes off. And it does get easier!

The quickest way, turn up the heat in your exercise room and run about 30 miles on the treadmill. You'll lose about 6-8 pounds real quick, in water weight. I wouldn't recommend this though considering you could DIE!!!!!

You might think about trying this book called "The Movie Star Diet" by Steve Simmons. It helped me lose thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months when I didn't think anything would work. My goal to begin with was only 20 lbs! It has a really easy plan to follow and an excellent workout as well.

Hi,
I've tried all different diets, and the weight loss is only temporary. I finally tried diet pills on the market are made from Hoodia. I saw this stuff on ABC News. It's all natural and safe, and it works! My wife took it for a month and dropped 20 pounds. I took it for a month and lost about 13 (but I didn't exercise).

I bought the natural hoodia from this website: http://www.alllsite.info/free-diet-pills.php . I checked the web site address so I can post it here and I saw they're running a promotion now to get a free 2 week sample for only $4.97! I'm going to order this supply for my wife and give it to her for Christmas =)

dont suddenly go doing crazy excercises, ur body wont be able to take it + even if u slim down, the result never last long.

the body starts to really burn those calories after 12-15mins of excerciesing. so try starting off with a 20-30mins jog daily(ok ok~ make it a 40walk then ^_^"") it might be hard to get so motivated to start with, but hey~ once u manage to keep it up every other day, it'll becum addictive + u'll wana try jogging daily cos u feel good afterwards =]

stick to cardio for weight losing. no point building up muscles when it's got layers of fat on top of it, right? ; ] so anything that makes u move + raises ur heart-beat - swimming, walking, running, stepaerobics, ice-sketing n hey~ if ur bit of a party-animal, dancing does it too =D but dont ruin it with the heaps of calories frm alcohol.

food wise - no red meat. fish + chicken only. n also veg. try to make it all fresh, no tinned esp with the veg, u want it fresh so all the goodies r there for u to take in. maintain intake of veg + fruit + water(its easy to 4get, put a glass of water where ur most at. next to pc of something. u'll keep refilling without noticng!) so ur body can get rid of the rubbish inside.

low fat intake + burning off existing fat + rid rubbish in the body. now u cant get any quicker than that! ;-]
