Yes, slam your face into a hard but not corse wall, the smoothness of the wall will reduce scratching.. Now if you hit the wall hard enough this will cause swelling bringing your eye swelling into accord with the rest of your face.. If this does not work try alternating hot and cold compresses in 15min intervels.. Try taking some benedryl also... Good luck and I hope I made you laugh a bit.. Too bad about the people who would judge a person because their eyes are having a bad day..

Soak with cold tea bags, or U could use Hemorrhoid cream like Preparation H that will shrink & tighten the skin.

I agree with the tea bag idea....always works for me...they have to be very cool...just before freezing..not freezing though, that can damage delicate skin......I keep some in the fridge..the coldness as well as the tanic (sp?) acid is what helps......also cucumbers work...

heamorroid cream is good. only on occasion though, i dont think its that great long term.
cold, wet tea bags for a less chemical approach
or just popping the face in very cold water.

cool cloth placed on eyes, cucumbers cold placed on eyes, warm t bags, ice packs or eye mask places in freezer as well take an ibuprofen for inflammation.
