These guys are all freaks. I don't believe anything they say anymore. Pat Robertson is going crazy. I read on AOL that he states that he can bench press 2,000 pounds. That is just plain stupid. One of his spokesman said that he drinks a special drink that gives him power. Ever since I heard that stupid claim, I know that he's going nuts.
Yes, these people are the men of GOD and they preach about homosexuality being wrong. But then, they are the ones who love it. Their explanation: THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT.
Remember that God loves everyone and you don't have to go to a priest to confess your sins because they will probably use them against you in the future.
God is listening to you. Speak to him whenever you want. He will always be there for you. And remember to be careful with all these fakes out there who claim to be working for God. And yes, they can be the people who you least expect.

There you go again lumping us all into one category.
Our belief in God is self evident. All you need to do is open your eyes and heart, then you too can know the love of God.
A pasture cannot have an affair, since it is a partial of land that is used for grazing cows, and horses.
Who are you referring to as our most famous PASTOR? If you are talking about Ted Haggard, I must inform you that 99% of Christians had never even heard of him before you did. Some of our most famous Pastors have a very strong support and accountability system set up around them. This is to keep us accountable, and for our protection against false accusations. We are under constant scrutiny and we take safeguards to ensure that we stay free from the sins of sexual impurity, financial misuse, and the like.

I didn't hear the story about the sexual relationship of meadows -- oh, well.
The hypocrites do not want their own sins exposed, so that is why it is so much easier for them to preach against other people -- the spotlight is then on someone else. And money plays a big part in this. Look at the wealth of those TV evangelists. They will do and say anything to keep the cash rolling in, even if it means living a lie and putting on a big show.

If by crazy you mean enthusiastic about spreading the Gospel it is perhaps because they appreciate God's Grace so much that they want to help others experience the joy of receiving such a great gift.
As for being hypocritical. Who among us is always perfect in our behavior? When a Christian sins it reflects poorly on the church. It is important then that the consequences of that sin be recognized and discipline be appropriate. The disobedient believer must be held accountable and be supervised in efforts to be restored into fellowship.
As to why they believe in God? Perhaps, as a spiritual being temporarily in this physical realm, they recognize their need for fellowship with Him?

Not everyone who stands behind the pulpit and preaches was called to do that by God. They don't belong there, and God will expose their bigotry and lies in his perfect time. And over time, God has exposed these liars in the past. Not every pastor needs to be shadowed by the sins of the men who were never called to the pastorialship by God.
Anyone who is a Born again Christian, and has the Holy Spirit living within them can feel if the pastor is of God or not through their spirits communicating together. You just know who is of God and who isn't.
You just can't make this blanket statement of all evangelicals, because not all of them are fony. God exposes all fonnies in His perfect time and place. Prasie the Lord!!

Not all evangelicals do stuff like that, ya know. A lot of people use excuses like that to say "Oh, well it's not for me. If they can do something like that, then I'm fine." Well these people aren't any better off when they compare themselves to the hypocrites that are involved with a religion or Christianity. There's 'traitors' in every religious group, as well as many many other groups. I'm not at all excusing what these people do wrong. I'm just saying you can't base your opinion of a whole group on just one person in that group. Kind of like a family. If you have 25 people in your extended family, and one of them does something to mess up the family name and disgrace them, you're not gonna leave the other 24 because of that one. It was that one's personal decision to do wrong, and not the other 24's. See what I'm saying? And if you don't believe in God, why are you concerned about this anyhow? Remember, God loves you.

Ye without sin Cast the first stone.
In other words you have no right to point out My brothers sin if you, yourself are living in sin. Jesus makes it quite clear in Matthew 7:1 judge not unless you, yourself be judged.
God also tells us we all sin and fall short of the Glory of God. he also says if any man say he is with out sin he is a lier. Then he says none are perfect but should strive to be, by living a continual life of repenting, asking to be forgiven. None of us will be perfect until the Lord Jesus comes and put evil in his place. But those of us that show much mercy to those who miss up, it will be us who receive much mercy and forgiveness on judgment day. So inconclusive my brother it is not hypocritical to sin and fall short if we repent ask for forgiveness, but it is hypocritical to have sin in your own life and judge with harshness someone Else's.
