Mexican immigrants bring us a new labor pool that is generally willing to do labor jobs that are thought of as undesireable by some. They also bring us new culture that we can all learn from and appreciate. Not all immigrants are in the labor class though and have education and skills that are needed in many communities.
Unfortunatly these fine immigrants are not well recieved in the US because many of their countrymen do not follow the rules of immigration and enter the US illegally. That is a shame and a disadvantage to these fine, law obeying hard working people.

This is a mixed bag. By supplying cheap labor they allow businessmen to make more money for their own extravegances. They purchase commodities from businesses and as a result allow these businesses to prosper. The down side is that they usually spend their money in their own community and send much of it to Mexico and Central America where they are benefiting those societies. Our own President and much of Congress has been duped as to the benefits of an immigrant society, but the fact is that the biggest advantage is more constituents and bigger campaign contributions from the companies that benefit from the cheap labor. Much of the American infrastructure was built over the past two centuries by importing cheap labor from poor countries, but we usually did not allow them to be assimilated into the main stream of American society until they had been here for several generations. This latest influx has been invited to stay and without the requirements of speaking English and living at an American standard. Therefore they are creating a third world culture within our borders with the attending problems of disease, urban blight, wear and tear on the health facilities, etc. Those of us who are trying to maintain the high quality of life the US has maintained for the past sixty years are branded racist and narrow minded. The truth is that we are the true patriots who invite any one to live and work here if they follow the rules and abide by the standards that have made this a great place to be.

If you're clever enough to steal money from a bank, should you be allowed to keep the money? The part Americans don't like about the illegal immigrant issue is the "illegal" part. America has always welcomed people with open arms, but we have a process for doing so that ensures we know exactly who is here. It also allows us to screen out criminals and such. Sneaking in messes with that. If the very first thing you do when entering our country is break a law, then you do not deserve to be here. It is currently illegal to enter without going through processes that document your arrival. Why is that so difficult?

illegal aliens have absolutely no benefit to America & Americans...think about it..the jobs Americans won't do? just exactly who do you think were doing those jobs before our government stopped enforcing the immigration laws and big business could lower the wages below what an American household needed to live. I know this sounds strange but the illegal aliens are getting so much more welfare than middle-class Americans from our states and government they don't need a liveable wage...so not only are they breaking the law when they enter our country many, many of them are having anchor babies to qualify for government aid the rest of them are stealing identities of Americans to receive aid....how many Americans do you know that would break the law to receive welfare and have the gaul to march in the streets, hang our flag upside down & demand their rights....Our government is biting off more than middle-class Americans can chew with their amnesty approach to illegal aliens!

Legal Mexican immigrants are a benefit to society if they are hard working, honest, law abiding, moral people. We need all of those that we can get. Anyone with those qualities would be a benefit to any society.

Remember not only Mexicans are immigrants, Central and South Americans. They perform jobs that pay the minimal wage. But they won't come to the States legally, so they choose to be illegals.

Stock market - manual labor becomes cheaper, so the construction companies' stocks go up.
Also, housing becomes cheaper.
But I should probably point out there are negative effects of illegal immigration to the economy as well.

fact, the population of a country such as USA depends on immigrants in order to sustain itself, due to a declining birth rate.
Accepting immigrants brings new skills into a country. Basically, some do 'jobs no one else will do' because of the open opportunites not present in Mexico.

Cheap labor for businesses. Unfortunately, it is not good for the tax payer. Since we pick up the tab for illegals in jails, schools, and hospitals. It ends up being a detriment.
