One of my best friends just got her heart broken by a guy she was dating. He was also dating someone else at the same time as her. We're taking her out, just the girls, and I thought it might be fun to do a funny little voodoo ritual, for closure for her. Just for fun, none of us really believe in that sort of thing. Do you think this is a good idea, or just stupid?

Since you dont know what Vodou really is you can not possibly degrade the religion at all. Vodou is a religion and not just magic. Make up a ritual for fun. What harm could it do. Just dont pretend to invoke and gods......you never know they may just show up!!!

Voodoo is a very serious belief for some, and by doing that, you'd pretty much be mocking their beliefs. Whether you believe in another's religion or not, you still need to show respect for what they believe in. Not a good idea. Very bad karma.

bad idea you shouldnt play with stuff like that... and especially if you dont understand voodoo or hoodoo... she should just pray for the one created for her before she was even born...a nd wait for him... not mess with the occult...
now i know im gonan get flamed and many people will tell you to do it... but i really dont reccommend it... i played with voodoo years ago and ended up having to have some serious deliverance when i became a christian to have things cast out of me... if you interested in understanding more... feel free to email me
