I don't think he forgot, he just did not want to CALL.

the first thing NOT to do is to contact him about it. If you were the last to do so, then he did not call back you first must get the ball back in YOUR court. What i mean by this is: If you really want to break up because of this, and i mean REALLY, then AS OF RIGHT NOW YOU ARE BROKEN UP. END OF STORY. Now, when HE CALLS YOU, inform him that it's over. If it takes two months of waiting to tell him, that it's over, well that's his problem. You move on.Here's the tricky part for us girls. You are gonna want to call HIM to tell him/ argue/ whatever. That just keeps the ball in HIS court. Don't do it. THE MINUTE HE CALLS YOU, the ball is back in your court. Keep it there, you'll be stronger for it in the long run. tell him "you deserve to not be forgotten and if you have to NAG at him to remember you that it's not worth it because you don't want to be that type of a person. Obviously he's not ready for the same level of commitment or mutual respect so you don't waste your time."

Not right away. I'd find out why he forgot to call. If the reasons weren't legit then I'd consider the options.

Men don't "forget" to call. There are too many ways to communicate...so that would be unacceptable. If you are truly special to him, he would find a way to let you know he is thinking of you, even if he is BUSY.

I say, bring it to his attention and let him know that you are annoyed by his actions. If he continues, move on and "don't waste the pretty".

Did he give a valid reason? Some people are forgetful, but I always think that if something is important to a person, they'll remember.

Not necessarily. He may be very busy, absent minded, or just didn't feel like talking. May feel as if he has to "report in", not cool.
