I lied to my boyfriend about taking a prescription pill that I have had a problem with for years. He and I live together and everytime I take one of these pills I turn into a dramatic &*%$#. When I am sober, we are perfect together and all we do is laugh and love. I want to do something so special for him---and I started by flushing the pills and telling him I'm sorry. This is my last chance to keep the love of my life. He motivated me to quit smoking, he makes me smile every morning---I'd be lost without him. Please help me!!!

you could try writing him a letter telling him all of these things. men are so hard to figure out sometimes. you have to really be sincere when you say you are through with those pills. and dont just tell him, show him. cook him dinner, rub his feet, give him the royal treatment every step of the way. i hope everything works out for you.

By reading your little comments above, first of all you need to grow up and act like an adult instead of feeling sorry for yourself every time you face tough issues. Throw these so called prescription pills away and never go back to them. If you continue to go down this path, you will not have to worry, he will get sick and tired of your silly little games and he will leave you. I know I am being hard on you, but face reality, right now the worst enemy is yourself. Noone else. If you want to keep this guy in your life, act like it. Be yourself without the medication and learn how to deal with life's hardtimes without dealing with pills. Sooner or later sorry is going to grow old, it will not mean anything. If you are truly sorry, then you know what you have to do, if you don't I promise you as I am typing this he will get tired of it and he will leave you. I have seen this happen too many times in my life.

Did he see you flushing the pills? That would be a big sign.

Now, just keep away from those problems. Show him that he is more important than pills.

Plan a night that's all about him. Watch those Fight movies that he probably loves. Order wings, drink beer. Watch a football game. Do the things that he loves. And YOU have fun too! Show him that you like to share in his activities.

You made the first step in showing him you care by flushing the pills if he didnt care he would be long gone so he must love you as much as much as you love him. Its the things you do everyday that should make him feel very special and just telling him how special he is and how happy you are now he should see the difference. Good choice with the pills nothing but trouble i know. good luck on smoking it hard but worth it

Money isn't necessary, it is all about the little things. A good thing to do is give him extra attention, attention is one of the most basic forms of love. Show him gratitude, thank him for all of the things he has done for you recently. You could sneak in some compliments as well. Maybe write him a letter about how much he means to you, or talk about it over a homemade romantic dinner.

If you need the prescription then discuss it with your doctor and be HONEST about the prescription with your boyfriend. Perhaps if it's a medication you need then your doctor can give you something that will be less a hindrance to you. However if you no longer need the medication you were right to flush it. Discuss it with your doctor and your boyfriend.

You sound very sweet, it's a shame really. I wouldn't know where to begin in your situation so not much help there I'm afraid but I know that it's the little things my partner does for me that means the most, when he makes me breakfast in bed. I also make him breakfast in bed, buy him little things I know he likes when I go shopping, just something silly like a crunchy bar. It shows him you're thinking of him always!

Tell him your problem outright..be honest and give him the chance to leave you if he wants to-but tell him if he stays you will be a better person. If he cares he will stay. Why not go away together for awhile , somewhere remote away from temptations other than each other.

Yes - if the pills are effecting your behaviour you should discuss this both with your BF and your GP.

From what you say you should also tell your BF how you feel about him. Its very flattering (imo)
