I'm currently deployed to Afghanistan. I'm going home in a few months. When I get there I will have a lot of leave days built up to spend with my girlfriend. (can't wait) I'm looking for a lot of little romantic sweet things to show her how much I truly missed, love and adore her. I have some ideas but...... any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx in advance OEF-7 Afghanistan

Girls differ a whole lot, you know but I'll answer from what I would've liked you to do: Carry her out on little evening walks holding hands whilst playing little pranks on her like tickle her or nip her neck and tell her how much you missed her. Or you can provide a box of chocolate (that is if she likes chocolate or has any other thing against them) with a little note on it about how much you love her (make sure you take the time to draw a teddy bear with a heart on it so it would be funny AND sweet). Or maybe a dinner at a nice restaurant (not too expensive but NOT cheap either, of course), hold her hands occasionally (you don't want to do it too often and she gets annoyed with you) across the table, smile at her and tell her how horrible it was to be away from her for so long and you anticipated this moment to be with her for so long now.

I really hope this works. As I said before, all girls differ and I can only answer from what I would've liked.

If you have been go for a year then all you need to do is show up with a pizza and flowers. She will take care of the rest... and the pizza will still be good cold. Or you could show up in a limo and take her somewhere romantic for dinner than to a nice bed and breakfast. She may have a lot of ideas of her own. DO NOT trample her romantic ideas trying to impress her with yours. I was at my boyfriends return program. I went in a long coat..... and shoes. Just be happy.

you sound like a really great guy and it seems she is a very lucky girl. i hope she realizes that. just being with you home safe and sound should be enough sweetie but if you want to go the extra mile, here are some suggestions. little notes hidden all over the place for her to find are nice. flowers of course. find some special things to do in your area. i live by the beach and its lovely at night. romance is always a plus. affection is great but dont over do it because that can get annoying.treat her like a precious gift and i guarantee she will be pleased. good luck and come home safe. by the way, you guys over there have all our support and you are in our prayers.

When my friend came home for a vacation from Afghanistan for a 3-week vacation, he took his girlfriend took a cottage just the two of them. They spend 3 weeks just being together, in eachother's arms, doing not much except just enjoying the peace and quiet and love. When he came home 4 months after that, she greeted him with his son's sonograph's pictures. lol.

First of all, THANK YOU for your service to our country! Your girlfriend is going to be so glad when you get home! Go get your picture taken together somewhere, and then take her out to dinner. Get her a nice card and tell her how much you missed her every day--I'm sure she will treasure that. Get a bear that holds a picture frame to put your picture in there so she can look at it when you have to go back. Hope you like my ideas! : )

She's not going to care what you do or where you go. She's going to be so happy to see you again.
Plan plenty of time for just the two of you. Take her to a nice dinner, cook dinner at home.
Just enjoy each other's company.

Welcome home!

a body massage....

mutual masterbation (oh, sorry... my mind wandered for a few... AHEM)

make dinner for her with candles, soft music playing...

go on a picnic out in the middle of nowhere... and for dessert, lick her up and down and make sweet love to her. make her squirm and want you more and more.
