RP isn't an accessory, it progressed for broadcasting in the days while on the spot reception became intermitent and would desire to be crackly for this reason a choose for sparkling pronunciation which became recieved in direction of the on the spot reciever by utilising the listener ie. the 'recieved pronunciation' in the early days of radio broadcasting there have been many close by accents that would desire to no longer needless to say be understood at cases on the radio and a conventional pronunciation became progressed. confident there are of direction occuring accents which may be percieved as 'posh' and continuously would be yet they do no longer look to be RP.

I suspect that you've decided to learn RP anyway. That aside, I probably wouldn't notice. I'm quite unobservant. I suppose if they waved it in my face and bellowed out the cover-stories in a deafening (yet perfect) RP accent then I might think they were stupid, and having scouted over your previous questions, I wonder if you might not be just that kind of person?

Anybody who speaks RP is a silly ponce if s/he's not being paid for it.
Reading the Economist is neither here nor there, though still poncy if done in public.

I'd be more than fine about the RP but reading the Economist ..........??.. how utterly draggy mon cher. I fear that you will speak beautifully but your conversation will bore me.
