While being tolerant it is easy to tolerate Evil,
in a sense condoning it.

Mav also ask for this to be considered. How fine is the line between "letting people know you don't condone" and "acting evil"

The lines are both very fine and easily crossed.

Being tolerant is showing respect for the rights or opinions or practices of others.

Condoning evil is to excuse, overlook, or make allowances for; be lenient with morally bad or wrong; "evil purposes"; "an evil influence"; "evil deeds" ...

The line you cross when you condone evil is the content of your character.

We'd have to know more about what you are talking about in order to answer. If you think something is evil then you don't need to tolerate it. I always ask myself if the thing I think is evil is harming others and in what way. If it isn't, but it just makes me uncomfortable I decide to accept that it exists and move on. If it's hurting someone then I don't tolerate it.

I'm an Atheist, but I think I know the answer to this one...

Being tolerant= accepting that other people have different beliefs, sexual preference, etc. and respecting their rights to practice it.

condoning "evil"= Supporting it completely with no comments on how evil it is or that you don't believe it

I read enough of these things to figure it out.

Hard question to answer, due to the fact that tolerance and evil are personal things; everyone has a different opinion.

Doesn't that depend on the situation? Doing harm to someone is the only literal wrong ("evil") in this world, including the harm a person does to himself. On the other hand, no one has the right to impose his beliefs on others. Nothing is all black or all white.

Tolerance and Patience is the biggest and hardest quality in Human being....condoning evil is something which you can not define well...as may be something is evil for me is not evil for someone else....so its really hard to decide....but yes something is harmful for my right and my peoples rights ....( right of life, speech, love, religion) we have to use our right of condoning evil....right??????????????????????

God looks at the heart of man,so it would depend on the person and their abilities.Recall the story of the Talents, one was given five and gained another five, another three and gained three more, another was given one and gained nothing. Not that much was asked of this one,and yet,he could have received the same reward as the others.Being more spiritual doesn't mean I am more saved,it just means I have a better chance of remaining saved.

Evil is in the eye of the beholder. So the line will vary from person to person.
